Hoover Park - City of Palo Alto, CA

Located at 2901 Cowper Street (between Colorado and Loma Verde), Hoover Park is quite large. Tennis courts, a baseball diamond, handball courts, a children's play area and picnic tables are some of the amenities provided.

Hoover Park was developed in the mid 50's and was located next to Hoover Elementary. The elementary school was relocated in 1982. A dry watercourse with various sized boulders runs along the south side. Originally filled with water, it was drained in 1976 during a drought.

  • Amenities: two tennis courts, two handball courts, tennis backboard, softball field, picnic facilities, with barbeques, toddler playground, two climbing structures, and a multi-purpose concrete bowl with a basketball hoop.
