Arguello Park

  • Location: 260 Wellington Dr
  • Description: 21 acre park, the largest and most uniquely diverse developed park. Trails wind through hillsides.
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, paths, open space, BBQ, restrooms, baseball diamond, soccer field, and tennis courts.

Big Canyon Park

  • Location: 3190 Brittan Ave
  • Description: 16 acre park with rugged, hilly, narrow paths. One of the more beautiful and rustic places in town.
  • Amenities: trails and open space.

Burton Park

  • Location: 900 Chestnut
  • Description: 10.33 acre park. The oldest and best known developed park.
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, BBQ, restrooms, basket ball court, baseball diamond, soccer field, and tennis courts.

Cedar Street Park

  • Location: 100 block of Cedar St
  • Description: 0.66 acre park, partially fenced to keep young children from running into the street
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, and basketball court

Chilton Park

  • Location: 48 Bayview Dr (dead end of Chilton Ave and Sequoia Ct)
  • Description: 1.6 acre undeveloped hill area
  • Amenities: open space

City Hall Park

  • Location: Elm St and San Carlos Ave
  • Description: 1.3 acre downtown park
  • Amenities: picnic area

Crestview Park

  • Location: 1000-A Crestview Dr (at Leslie Ct)
  • Description: 7 acre park renovated in 2014
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, paths, restrooms, basketball court, and soccer field

Eaton Park

  • Location: 3000 Eaton Ave
  • Description: 57.6 acre natural open space with views from the upper sections
  • Amenities: paths and open space

Highlands Park

  • Location: 2600 Melendy Dr (at Aberdeen Dr)
  • Description: 11.25 acre park former site of San Carlos High athletic fields
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, paths, restrooms, baseball diamond, soccer field, and tennis court

Hillcrest Circle Park

  • Location: 280 Hillcrest Rd (at Arundel Rd)
  • Description: 0.2 acre neighborhood park
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, BBQ, and basketball court

Laurel Street Park

  • Location: 759 Laurel Street
  • Description: 0.3 acre park with night lighting near shops and restaurants
  • Amenities: picnic area

Laureola Park

  • Location: 503 Old County Rd
  • Description: 2.6 acre neighborhood park with a recreation center
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, open space, BBQ, restrooms, basketball court, baseball diamond, and soccer field

Rosek Park

  • Location: 455 Elm Street
  • Description: 0.2 acre neighborhood park
  • Amenities: bench, water fountain, small grass area

San Carlos Ave Park

  • Location: 2400 block of San Carlos Ave
  • Description: 0.3 acre neighborhood park
  • Amenities: picnic area, play equipment, and BBQ

Vista Park

  • Location: 401 Crestview Dr
  • Description: 3.8 acre park, a pilot site for native species
  • Amenities: picnic area, paths, and open area
