Located at 2298 Dartmouth Street (between S California and College), Weisshaar Park blocks through traffic on Dartmouth. It has an open flat grass covered area and two tennis courts.
One of four parks originally in the town of Mayfield dating back to 1888. Its name was changed from Hampton to Weisshaar in 1968. In 1870 Weisshaar and his friend Peter Spacher bought and farmed 120 acres until the late 1880s when they sold their land to Alexander Gordon who subdivided it into plots that would become College Terrace.
