Newark Real Estate Trends

Home prices in Newark peaked in 2007 at about $700,000. Like many similarly priced areas home prices just started surpassing that peak in 2015.

Newark shows an exaggerated version of the tendency for demand to surpass supply early in the year then leveling off. For 2013, 2014, and 2015 most homes sold well over list price in the first quarter and then moved closer to list price for the rest of the year.
