The North Shoreline Neighborhood has not yet been targeted by builders for the construction of either large new homes nor new townhouses. It still includes many older original houses. The lot sizes tend to be between 5,000 and 6,000 square feet. Most small builders prefer to build quite large houses in order to get higher profits. A large lot is generally needed to build a large house. The large developers have built many new townhouses near downtown where the easy access to shops and public transportation can justify less parking space for the new homes.
The North Shoreline neighborhood contains classic suburban neighborhood areas.
