    Los Altos High School is an outstanding place for students to learn and grow. Within a context of a caring community, Los Altos High strives to have all students develop and achieve learning goals that will serve them well beyond their high school years. 

    Los Altos High works with a diversity of students to help each one reach his or her potential. LAHS is a genuine comprehensive high school with a range of offerings from Advanced Placement and honors courses in mathematics, science, English, social studies, and foreign language to courses designed to help students make a smooth transition to work when they leave high school. College preparatory students can take advantage of traditional and interdisciplinary programs as well as outstanding courses in visual arts, performing arts, and industrial technology. Special needs students are well served through the English Language Development and Special Education programs.

Learning Environment:
