South Palo Alto Neighborhood - Palo Alto

The South Palo Alto Neighborhood covers the largest area of any of Palo Alto's Neighborhoods. At the eastern edge is the Charleston Center with several nice stores including Piazza's Market. Near the northwest side is the Midtown Shopping Center. Much of the South Palo Alto Neighborhood is in the Gunn High School and JLS Middle School attendance boundaries making it popular with families. Most of the homes are tract-homes but with the rapid replacement that has been occurring over the last 10 years, there are many large new homes.
